Of Cats and Birds (and Lyrics)
My cat brought in a gynormous bird this evening.
No clue how he caught it or managed to get it upstairs.
It was like twice his size.
And still alive, with no visible wounds.
Just scared out of its wits, I think.
And sitting still as he chewed on its feathers.
So we put it outside, where it disappeared.
This is a really pretty song, I'm not sure who it's by or what it's from. I tried downloading the existing Winning Eleven soundtrack and couldn't find it. I've always liked the melody for Kimi Ga Yo, and the lyrics are very nice...

Ah, the main column is just slightly too narrow to avoid clipping the edge off YouTube videos. I had that problem on my blog; I modified the template CSS to widen the column (and eventually expanded it to its current width so I could embed the occasional Veoh video or large image). If you're interested in changing it, you're probably looking for something with an ID like 'main' or 'main-wrapper' and the current value 400px.
